Courtney and Justin held their wedding and reception at the beautiful Queenslanding. Their reception was in the Georgian ballroom, and it looked spectacular. Courtney selected dark purple calla lily, hydrangea, and used green cymbidiums, green hydrangea and also some gorgeous large white philenopsis orchids as the focal points for her floral arrangements. To highlight the color palette of purples and lush greens, we used a backdrop of white hydrangea and white lysianthus. The centerpieces were a stunning addition to the amazing decor provided by Simply Beautiful Decor.

Jen and Matt recently got married at the Legends on the Niagara. They had a beautiful wedding, filled with lush full florals. We were once again working with Simply Beautiful Decor to create Jen and Matt’s look for their wedding.
Jen started with a wonderful color palette using cool pinks, muted grays and ivories. To give her the vision she desired, elegant and modern with a hint of something from yesteryear. We created arrangements using hydrangea, roses and other textured greens. Because Jen wanted a look that was reminiscent of an antique garden we also used a variation of different shades of champagne and pink roses.
The result was floral arrangements that were classic, simple and modern, with a slightly antique feeling, that tied in perfectly with their vision for their wedding day.

Sabrina and Micheal held their reception and wedding at Carmens Banquet Hall. The event was nothing short of stunning. We worked with Simply Beautiful decor to help Sabrina and Micheal create an event that was truly their own.
They wanted a setting that was vibrant and warm, like a summer evening. To create this feeling they selected a color palette of rich warm yellows combined with shades of ivories. This combination gave their arrangements a modern summery feeling.
The focal point of the arrangements were the manzanita trees, accented with golden camela antique roses along with white and green hydrangeas. We used white orchids, white dendrobuim blooms, and green cymbidium orchids giving the arrangements depth and character. The entire ballroom completed gave the feeling of a lush garden on a summer night!
Congratulations, all the best in your lives together!

Joanna and Kevin were married at the beautiful Chateau Des Charmes located in Niagara on the Lake. Such an elegant and beautiful location deserved equally stunning floral arrangements. To create an elegant classic look for their day we used a variety of blooms. The pewter centerpiece dishes were topped with white and lavender hydrangea. The hydrangea was accented with large yellow carmela garden roses and lavender roses. The result was a beautiful pastel palette with lush overflowing centerpieces. The gold chairs just complimented the decor and were provided by Simply Beautiful Decor.
Congratulations Joanna and Kevin, many blessings in your future together!

We are so excited here at My Bouquet about the latest issue of Elegant Wedding, the Toronto Edition. This issue is full of great inspiration for weddings.
Our floral designs were featured along with the decor design by Simply Beautiful Decor and were photographed by Photography By Elma.
The first layout showcases a large centerpiece that combines a corkscrew hazel tree with yellow Mokara orchids wired in the tree branch. We also used white amaryllis, garden roses and other florals creating a blend of organic and floral elements. The table was then topped off with soft chiffon fabric, brown chivari chairs and rich satin brown napkins from Simply Beautiful Decor, transforming the gazebo at the Pillar and Post, in Niagara on the Lake, into a beautliful winters night.
Our second feature was the Vintage Inns wedding show at the Queens Landing. We designed a cascading bridal bouquet using burgundy amaranthus, orchids and ranunculus. The centerpieces featured burgundies and light pinks, hydrangea, cymbidium orchids, roses, hanging amaranthus. The table fabric was done up by Simply Beautiful Decor. A gorgeous tulling with a smked grey finish comlementing the crystal candleabra.

When creating floral arrangements for an event or wedding we are often asked to create designs that compliment and also reflect the venue. Lindsay and Neil wanted to reflect the blue wall at Southbrook. Southbrook has an amazing wall that is part of the building design, so we created designs to reflect this. To emulate the wall we used hues of burgundies. Plum calla lily, burgundy dahlia, dark pink protea. We then accented everything with lavender-blue accents.
To further personalize the space, for Lindsay, we created white strands of orchids and vines to be her ceremony backdrop. The decor was fabulous, as it always is when working with Simply Beautiful Decor. Check out their blog for more ideas on how they can help you personalize your own wedding decor. The food was amazing, catered by the Epicurean, another of our favorite vendors to work with.

This is a busy week here at My Bouquet. We have been featured in the, Wedding Bells magazine. Wedding Bells has featured our floral designs in a wonderful six page spread showcasing a table scape and two elegant fall bridal bouquets. The elements used for our winter centerpiece were amaryllas, anemone, white double freesia and green skimmia berries. We also added the bark to add that rustic element for this centerpiece.

We are beyond excited that the Wedluxe, Canada’s luxury wedding magazine has their summer/fall 2010 issue out. For brides this is a key publication providing tons of inspiration as they plan their weddings.
This year in addition to having our ad that we share with Simply Beautiful Decor, our work has also been featured as a part of the magazine. You can see samples of our bouquets on pages 105 and 107!

Janel and Tom got married at the White Oaks Resort, in Niagara on the Lake. The grand ballroom at the resort was enhanced by the team at Simply Beautiful Decor. They used candles and dramatic black linens to set the stage for Janel and Tom’s big day.
Janel loves Gerbera Daisies so our team combined them with other flowers in deep purples and fuschia pinks for her day. In addition to the Gerbera Daisies, we used Fushcia pink peonies, hydrangea, lilies, and purple tricheluim, to create a rich dramatic look. Set against the black linens with the crystal accents these colors just pop!

The setting for Kiran and Kevin’s amazing wedding was the Legands Golf Course in Chippewa. The couple commisioned a stunning canopy that we created from vibrant fushcia, light pinks and accented by pink pearl fabric. The fabric and decor was provided by Simply Beautiful Decor. The photography was done by our friend Elma at Photography By Elma, her amazing work truly captured the magic of their special day.
Rounding out the decor were the tables. The lush centerpieces were overflowing with fushcia, light pinks and when combined with the amazing black damask linens made the tables come to life.
Congratulations Kiran and Kevin, and thank you for letting us be a part of your beautiful wedding!
