Courtney and Justin held their wedding and reception at the beautiful Queenslanding.  Their reception was in the Georgian ballroom, and it looked spectacular.  Courtney selected dark purple calla lily, hydrangea, and used green cymbidiums, green hydrangea and also some gorgeous large white philenopsis orchids as the focal points for her floral arrangements.  To highlight the color palette of purples and lush greens, we used a backdrop of white hydrangea and white lysianthus.  The centerpieces were a stunning addition to the amazing decor provided by Simply Beautiful Decor.

Jen and Matt recently got married at the Legends on the Niagara. They had a beautiful wedding, filled with lush full florals.  We were once again working with Simply Beautiful Decor to create Jen and Matt’s look for their wedding.

Jen started with a wonderful color palette using cool pinks, muted grays and ivories.  To give her the vision she desired, elegant and modern with a hint of something from yesteryear.  We created arrangements using hydrangea, roses and other textured greens.  Because Jen wanted a look that was reminiscent of an antique garden we also used a variation of different shades of champagne and pink roses.

The result was floral arrangements that were classic, simple and modern, with a slightly antique feeling, that tied in perfectly with their vision for their wedding day.

Joanna and Kevin were married at the beautiful Chateau Des Charmes located in Niagara on the Lake.  Such an elegant and beautiful location deserved equally stunning floral arrangements.  To create an elegant classic look for their day we used a variety of blooms.  The pewter centerpiece dishes were topped with white and lavender hydrangea. The hydrangea was accented with large yellow carmela garden roses and lavender roses.  The result was a beautiful pastel palette with lush overflowing centerpieces. The gold chairs just complimented the decor and were provided by  Simply Beautiful Decor.

The setting for Kiran and Kevin’s amazing wedding was the Legands Golf Course in Chippewa.  The couple commisioned a stunning canopy that we created from vibrant fushcia, light pinks and accented by pink pearl fabric. The fabric and decor was provided by   Simply Beautiful Decor.  The photography was done by our friend Elma at Photography By Elma, her amazing work truly captured the magic of their special day.

Rounding out the decor were the tables. The lush centerpieces were overflowing with fushcia, light pinks and when combined with the amazing black damask linens made the tables come to life.

We just love the modern romantic feel that Tara and Joey’s wedding had at the Olympia Ballroom in Stoney Creek.  The decor, by Simply Beautiful Decor, included tall candelabras dripping with crystals.  The candelabras topped with the ivory and pink floral arrangements gave the entire room a feeling of classic elegance, that can only add to the magic of their special day.  To create a romantic feel that Tara and Joey saw we used a color palette of  ivory, soft pinks, light pinks, burgundies and using orchids and hanging amaranthus to give their arrangements a classic but modern look. 

Laura and Kevin were married at the beautiful Luina gardens this past weekend.  Their featured flower was Lime green mums, which happened to be Laura’s favorite and were used as much as possible throughout her wedding.
The talented Taylor Jackson photography was there to capture these amazing candid portraits of Laura and Kevin’s day.  Taylor managed to capture so many great details, including the linen decor provided by Gotcha covered and all the details were coordinated by the talented Angelique of Angelique with Angelique’s weddings and Events.  Their reception was held at the Balls Falls in Vineland and included so many tiny flower details, it was a truly spectacular event!

Rebecca and John’s wedding was simply stunning.  The combination of purple hues gave their wedding a rich romantic feeling.  Their wedding ceremony was held at the Pillar and Post inside the Upper Canada Room,where we created a trail of rose petals that complimented the gold chair’s from Simply Beautiful Decor.

Their flower selection included white peonies lavender spray roses, ivory hydrangea, deep purple lysinathus, deep purple calla, ivory calla, deep purple dahlia, purple hydrangea.  The combination of these flowers, in everything from their grand centerpieces down to the details on the chairs helped to create a stylish and romantic feeling to both the ceremony and reception.

The reception was held at Queens Landing, and with the help Simply Beautiful Decor and many staff from the Vintage Hotels, this was a truly amazing boutique wedding event. No detail was left to chance, from the selection of champagne lamour linens, plum shantung napkins to the amazing glass charger plates.

I was so excited that  Photography by Elma was also there to capture and document Rebecca and John’s romantic wedding and reception.

The best part any wedding day is watching all the details come together.  The wedding of  Sarah-Jane and Adrian is no exception.  I had the pleasure of working with both Simply Beautiful Decor and Photography by Elma to create and capture the details of their day.  Their ceremony and reception were both held at the historic Queens Landing in Niagara, which is one of my favorite venues.

The bride and groom selected  ivory hydrangea, in season white peonies, and white parrot tulips, for their floral decor.  The creamy colors of the hydrangea, peonies and tulips provided an amazing background for the brown cosmos and green pods, which gave their summer wedding a  fresh, yet elegant decor.

As part of their decor they commissioned a stunning canopy which worked well with the brown chivari chairs and brown moss linens provided by Simply Beautiful Decor.

We were so happy to see our wedding featured in the Wedluxe winter/spring 2010 issue. Also check us out on the wedluxe blog. Patricia and Michael were married last June at Chateau des Charmes, a beautiful couple to work with. Other Niagara Vendors involved in this wedding were Angelique from from Angelique’s weddings and events, Simply Beautiful decor and willow cake pastries. 

On May 30^th, we had the pleasure of designing a very classic elegant wedding for our couple at Queen’s Landing in Niagara-on-the-Lake. The inspiration was classic and fresh and the shade of mint and apple green and ivory tones complemented the Georgian Ballroom nicely.

Flowers used in the centerpieces were green antique and ivory hydrangea, white/green viburnum, from the garden, white peonies from the garden, vendela roses, white lisianthus, queen annes lace and green cymbidium orchids hand-tied in tall classic style vase. In complementing Simply Beautiful Decor’s fabric and diamond broaches, we adorned the centerpieces with strands of crystals.

The cake was four tiered, cream on cream and draped in fondant; with green cymbidium orchids. Vineyard Sweets did a stunning job on the cake!
